The Empire of the Holy Spirit of Serreta, erected in 1922 in the Church Square in the parish of Serreta, celebrates the worship of the Holy Spirit on the eight Sundays after Easter, with emphasis on the Bodos of Pentecost and Trinity. The 1st Bodo, on Pentecost Sunday, includes a procession, coronation mass, blessing of bread and wine, drawing of the emperors for the next year, and a traditional lunch. The 2nd Bodo, on Trinity Sunday, repeats the activities and draws the emperors for the even Sundays of the next year. Both Bodos are accompanied by concerts by the Serretense Recreation Philharmonic Society.
