The Museological Nucleus of the Portuguese Air Force at Air Base No. 4 tells the story of more than 80 years of this Unit on Terceira Island. It brings together a collection of photographs and documents, allowing visitors to learn about the history of the Portuguese and foreign military presence at Air Base No. 4, as well as to understand the regular activities of the Portuguese Air Force in the Azores.

Open on Fridays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Visits must be scheduled in advance via email at turismo@cmpv.pt , with a minimum notice of 24 hours.
