The Império do Espírito Santo dos Remédios, located in the parish of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, Angra do Heroísmo, was founded in 1909 and relocated to Rua Francisco Ornelas in 1959. Celebrating the feast in honor of the Holy Spirit on Trinity Sunday, the brotherhood begins the celebration with the transfer of the crown, the recitation of the rosary, and the Supper of the Creators and Benefactors of the Empire. The highlight is the coronation on Sunday, followed by a mass and procession, culminating in a public function with traditional foods. The festival ends with a Bodo de Leite and a rope bullfight the following week.
